I’m not *completely* certain that this handles user agents
correctly. There is a deprecated command, `launchctl asuser`, that
executes a command in the Mach bootstrap context of another user`.
<https://scriptingosx.com/2020/08/running-a-command-as-another-user/>
claims that this is required when loading and unloading user agents,
but I haven’t tested this. Our current launchd agent logic is pretty
weird and broken already anyway, so unless this actively regresses
things I’d lean towards keeping it like this until we can move
over entirely to `launchctl bootstrap`/`launchctl kickstart`, which
aren’t deprecated and can address individual users directly. Someone
should definitely test it more extensively than I have, though.
This process was automated by [my fork of `nix-doc-munge`]; thanks
to @pennae for writing this tool! It automatically checks that the
resulting documentation doesn't change, although my fork loosens
this a little to ignore some irrelevant whitespace and typographical
differences.
As of this commit there is no DocBook remaining in the options
documentation.
You can play along at home if you want to reproduce this commit:

As the default package is now emacs 26.1 and --daemon flag falls back to forking behaviour the recommended way is to use fg-daemon, see: lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2016-11/msg00383.html, lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2017-05/msg00861.html
These options unintentionally used the deprecated string type, the
important difference between these is the fact that string merges by
default (similar to eg. lines) while str can only have a single value.
The motivation of the change is that some forks (ie. Wilfred/remacs)
choose not to use the emacs binary. Whereas it is perfectly possible
to generate /bin/emacs in a drv, but I strongly believe it's cleaner
to have a service parameter.
